We don’t send confirmation letters any more, instead you should be taken to a landing page after check out with joining instructions.  Glasgow venue is Holyrood Sport Centre.  Edinburgh venue is EICA.  Bring your paypal receipt.  The earlier you book, the cheaper the classes !  Cheap classes are in limited supply and sold on a first come first served basis, when they're gone—they’re gone !

Khaleegy technique  - 23rd May Glasgow 12.45—14.30

[Khaleegy is a gulf dance often done in galabeya style sheer gown (or throbe). Khaled often puts a little Khaleegy into other dances which shows his cheeky sense of humour, come and learn some steps to integrate into your dance.  Bring a throbe if you have one, but don't worry if you don't have one (I don't and I'm coming!)

Baladi Tabla Solo - 23rd May Glasgow   15.00—17.00

[Khaled is famous for his snappy hips, particularly during drum solo pieces, come and learn his secrets and integrate it into a Baladi piece.  The drum solo is where a dancer really gets to strut their stuff, learn from the master about how to get  the most strut into your stuff]

[The Magency Technique - 24th May Edinburgh 12.30—14.30

The Magency is a traditional Egyptian opening dance which has different sections incorporating changes of rhythm and dance styles.  This workshop will help you uncover the secrets and creativity locked within the Magency, which is used by dancers to showcase their talent within a varied piece of music. Khaled will cover entrances, changes of pace and different styles of dance, as well as how to finish as big as you started, please also bring a
veil just in case.

[This class uses and builds on the first session to work the technique into a dazzling chorography.  Because the classes are linked, they cannot be booked separately.
