Terms & Conditions

1. Tickets cannot be refunded except in the circumstances described in points 3, 4 & 8 below.

2. If you book a class and then want to cancel,  you may transfer your ticket into someone elses name with no charge.  (We no longer offer to resell tickets)

3. If a teacher is ill, another teacher will be provided; if no substitute can be found, a refund will be given.

4. If a class or the Hafla does not reach minimum numbers, it will be cancelled and a refund will be given.

5. Bookings are made only on receipt of payment.

6. Confirmations will be sent to those who book by post only, - this will be within 3 weeks of your booking, or by phone if you book within 3 weeks of the event.

7. If your booking has not been confirmed within 3 weeks, please contact us, as we may not have received your form.  

8. If you booked early, and find that we subsequently announce a special offer, you will not loose out!  You will either be refunded the difference, or be able to put your payment toward the special offer.

9. BellyDance Divas practices ‘rotation’ in class, everyone spends some time at the front, the middle and the back—dancers who refuse to rotate will be asked to leave class. (It’s OK if you want to lurk at the back)

10. If you miss the class you are booked on, you cannot turn up and attend another class.

11. If you book online, you should be taken to a confirmation page after checkout, this has location details in it—please make sure you’ve paid & have a paypal receipt.

12.   Please bring your paypal receipt to class as proof of payment / to use as your entry ticket, 90% of the time, we’ll just tick your name off our list, but in a few cases we’ll need to see the receipt & may deny entry to those who don’t have one.

These apply for classes being run by Belly Dance Divas, and not to classes being run by Dancebase or Edinburgh University (they have their own terms).
