BellyDance Divas is Edinburgh (UK) based.

BellyDance Divas is the brain child of Edinburgh bellydancer Caroline (pictured) , who spends her time dreaming up workshop subjects, and thinking about who would be great teachers to bring teachers.  Caroline is fanatical about quality, she personally visits each venue, and checks out all recommended hotels and any other services that BellyDance Divas use.

 

Ali,  the Admin Angel who does the majority of the student administration based in the idyllic setting of Kyle of Lochalsh.  Ali was a leading light in the Belly Dance Community in Edinburgh before she moved away to Kyle.  Ali was heavily involved with NADA (Northern Arabic Dance Association), trained at  JWAAD, a talented dancer, plus she ran her own classes & performance group.  Not only is she a fab administrator, she is a very wise lady.

 

The aim is to bring short bursts of high quality tuition to students of dance to enable people to raise their level of dance without the expense of traveling to Egypt.

 

Past teachers have included: Yasmina of Cairo; Khaled Mahmoud, Maria D’Silva, and Aziza !
